Cub Scout Puppet Show
The puppet show went really well. My giraffe and buffalo were awesome.

Joy & Sharing
Today was Joy & Sharing. I wore my Cub Scout uniform. There were crafts, sing-a-longs, and animals to pet to celebrate Jesus's birthday.

The Halloween party was at our house this year. My favorite was playing the Wrap the Mummy Game.

Archaeology
Mr. Coyle took the Cub Scouts rock hunting. I also remember thinking how hard it would be to measure long distances, but if you just need an estimate, 2 steps equals about a yard (for him), so he can just walk the distance, count his steps, and divide by 2 to estimate how many yards a certain distance is. It's a pretty neat trick. Cub Scouts seems a lot better than Indian Guides.

Mike at Sangree
Mom and I went to meet Mike at his Mom at Sangree once we realized we live that close to each other walking the shortcuts through Sangree field versus driving.

Home Life
Jerry and I are making a time capsule to bury in his yard. It's a picture of the American flag that fits in a film canister.
Then we went swimming at the D'Amicos. We left when it started to thunderstorm. Jerry would cover his ears with spoons whenever there was thunder. I tried to go back to his yard later and work on the time capsule more without him, but he caught me.
Then we made plans to go camping together when we get older. We used a camping catalog to pick out everything we would need. I have a feeling it's never going to happen though.
By then, it was time to wait for my dad to get off the van. While we were waiting, a bird pooped on my head. It felt rather traumatic at the moment, but I'm fine now.

Penalty
We played Will's team today at soccer. Will lives next door. I stopped him on a penalty shot sliding on my knees, but he got the rebound and scored. I never thought about worrying about the rebounds before, but that's something a goalie ought to do if he can.
I left early when I got some lime in my eye. The doctor gave us some orange drops to put in my eye and make it all better, but it seems like it just makes everything orange. That's good for someone who plays on the Orange Crush team. I hope there are cut oranges next week for snack, so we can put them in our mouth and look like we have big orange teeth.

Soccer Goalie
I learned how to use my left foot this year. I fooled Coach Tim in practice when he was playing goalie and shaded me too far to the left. I don't know if that's why, but I get to play goalie now and use my hands.

Belated First Reconciliation
I had a sore throat and missed the first Reconciliation with the rest of my class on Friday, but Fr. Jim Orr made it up with me today.
