Police Station

The Cub Scouts got to go to the Ross Township Police Station today. They took our fingerprints. They let us see what the inside of the jail cell looked like, so we could take a picture. Brian C. locked it while I was in there and Sgt. Uhrin had to go and get the keys. After that we got to ride in the police car.

Cub Scout Puppet Show

The puppet show went really well. My giraffe and buffalo were awesome.

Joy & Sharing

Today was Joy & Sharing. I wore my Cub Scout uniform. There were crafts, sing-a-longs, and animals to pet to celebrate Jesus's birthday.

Cub Scout Puppet Show Practice

Tonight was practice for the Puppet Show. I think we'll be ready.

Cub Scout Halloween Party

The Halloween party was at our house this year. My favorite was playing the Wrap the Mummy Game.

Cub Scout Pack Meeting

We had our cub scout pack meeting tonight at the school cafeteria, so we're ready for the Halloween party next week at our house.

Archaeology

Mr. Coyle took the Cub Scouts rock hunting. I also remember thinking how hard it would be to measure long distances, but if you just need an estimate, 2 steps equals about a yard (for him), so he can just walk the distance, count his steps, and divide by 2 to estimate how many yards a certain distance is. It's a pretty neat trick. Cub Scouts seems a lot better than Indian Guides.
