If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
-James 15-17
This reminds me that going to church doesn't make you anymore a Christian than standing in a forest makes you a tree. A lot of people talk a good game, but if you haven't learned already, there's little use in listening to what anyone says, whether it's good or bad. A person's actions give authority to their words. There's more to be learned by watching a person than listening to a person.

Does standing in a forest make you a tree?
